Hey guys,
While we all memorise essays in preparation for our upcoming exams, I was wondering if everybody else prepares and memorises a creative for their Paper 1? If so, is it effective? If not, how do you churn out a top-notch story on the spot?

I've heard that everybody prepares a creative but the very best students go into the exam with vague plot ideas and concepts but I can't see how it's humanly possible to churn out Band 6-level imagery and descriptions under exam pressure though.....

Most people have a generic creative that can be mended easily to the syllabus easily, others can just think on the spot and write out a good A range response.

Unless you're really good with writing spontaneous stories, I'd recommend a prepared one. With spontaneous it's also a risk because if you can't come up with something you're fked. So always have one memorised and adapt it to stimulus.
