hi, im interested in doing a combined degree rite but i dunno if i should.

i wanna do b commerce / b science at unsw, but i dont know how it works.
do i have 2 graduations? or would i have to complete them all at once during the 5 yrs?
would i be able to complete the commerce degree for the first 3 yrs then finish the science in the last 2? and work while i do the science?
can i drop the combined and stick with commerce?

or should i just do commerce at sydney?

thnx guys, i really need some advice on this

com/sci @ unsw is 4 years(+1 extra for honours), u get both Bachelor of commerce and science (1 major each) its more of an integrated program, ie you do both science and com subjects each year, if i remember atleast 92 units of each(i think)... you can drop either i beieve

You should be able to graduate with 1 degree while there are still several subjects outstanding for the other. But I don't think it's generally done.

For example a friend of mine has graduated with BCom even though she still had 1 science subject to go. This is a bit of a murky area for me though, best speak to the faculty.

And yes, you get to attend 2 graduations !
