I wouldn't bother reading up on stuff, you will probably have to buy a text book for your course, you can catch up with that. Also, most of the stuff will come flooding back when you start learning again.

yeah i didn't think i'd remember anything but have had to do chem, maths and bio this year and it all came back from year 12 when we went over it again... you'll be right!

Yeah, don't bother, you don't need to know too much before you reach uni... some people finish uni and still don't know much.
