Question on measures of concentration (1 Viewer)

Hi guys, just a quick Q

if the concentration of KI is 2.3% (w/v), express this in mol/L

can someone show a solution to this Q, cuz im getting the wrong answer. It weird, cuz i though i knew how to convert:uhoh:

Not really sure but I'll have a go.

2.3% of 1000mL is 23g

So concentration in g/L is 23g/L

We now convert grams to moles which is 23/166=0.14mol
.'. Concentration is 0.14mol/L.
