dunno if this is the right section but anyway
say our preferences looked somthing like this (based on UAI)
1. 88 UAI
2. 85 UAI
3. 80 UAI
4. 77 UAI
5. 76 UAI
6. 75 UAI
7. 72 UAI
8. 68 UAI
9. 61 UAI
ok my question is, if you dont get in the 80 range, are your chances of getting into the 70 UAI courses really bad coz they arnt top 3 preferences? and if you dont get into the 70 range are your chances of getting into the 60 UAI preferences really low coz they are last on the list?
how does this all work and what is the advantage of putting courses in the TOP 3 preferences? and in january when you get your course confirmations do you get accepted for all if you get 90 UAI and you get to choose which one you wanna do?
