What do you think you'll add to the company?

How would you answer this during an interview? Just need some ideas.

Well.. do you study anything in particular?

You could just BS about how you're learning the theory and you want to put it into practice..... growth...... and some BS about how you need new people within the company because they can give a different approach to work since the oldies have gotten stuck within the company's culture... n shit like that...

Or you could talk about your past experiences.. if you have any, and how they relate to your capabilities to excel in this job.. shit like that..

But not in those words, that's just inappropriate..

We just want the fucking moneys.
that's why you won't get the job, moron.

they ask these questions for a reason - to explore what kind of a person you are. very simple question, but your answer can often separate you from the average joe. companies are not going to pay x amount of money to you, or putting their business in your hands without knowing you, so answer those more delicate questions well and you can land almost any job you want.

in regard to the question, i'd say anything from your academic excellence, personality, technical expertise (if you've got a degree) to your simple enthusiasm.
