(i hope this thread is in the right spot)

im looking at doing primary education, but the idea of becoming a school counsellor is really something that i am leaning towards doing as well.

upon my scrolling through the uac guide, i found a course that allows students to become a teacher and 'provides the prerequistes for further training to become a school counsellor' the only thing is its is a

B Social Science (Psychology)/ B Teaching (Secondary)

i dont really want to become a secondary teacher so i was wondering if it was possible to complete a social science degree, and an education degree (primary) within the same time frame, by doing either one by distance ed or something?

hopefully someone out there knows the answer, and can help.

thanks in advance

Perhaps the only way to do this is to do a B Primary Teaching and then a separate B Psych. I, too, had not heard of primary school cousellors. But you never know!
