Hey guys, my prelims are in 2 weeks time, and I still have some questions in my head.

How can you solve the following:
1. For what values of k will the expression kx^2 +2x+k always be negative? (3 marks)
2. Find all real values for which 4^(x+1) - 20(2)^x + 16 =0 (3 marks)
