I'm applying for medicine at the University of Adelaide and it says a prerequisite required is either chemistry, biology or mathematical studies.

What I'm wondering is that if 4U and/or 3U mathematics is the same as mathematical studies.

Yeah, It definetley is. It's just saying you need to do some kinda maths for your Yr 12 HSC.
