I recently made a move to a new school this year. I am in year 11. The school's rank is much higher than that of my old school's, but I was thinking of moving back because things have not been working out for me. I do higher than average but think I can improve my ranks if I return to my old school.

Is ranking important and should scaling be something I consider for the HSC/ATAR?

if u feel that way u should return to ur old school its not in ur best interests. for me since changing schools to a more chalenging academic school from manly high. things havent't worked out. ive had to go to counselling and what not. i recommend u change schools and quickly adjust. trust me. my results have spiralled down since making the transfer. ur better off in an environment u can feel comfortable in.

its hard for a yr 11 person to make the adjustment. ive forund it hard.
