hi!
i only know a few language device for my essay writting like (emotive, simile and repeition)
plz tell me more 4 language device which relate 2 the text of "china coin" and others.
cuz i will haf a assessment coming up
i need 2 know more language device on my essay !

CHINA COIN LANGUAGE TECHNIQUES

METAPHOR: "China is a warm bowl of porridge"
Direct speech: anything actually said by Leah
indirect speech: Leah telling reader of what someone else says
First person narrative ( engages reader more personally)
Symbol: the 2 half coins in the glass egg are a symbolic of the chinese govt and chinese people uniting.
descriptive language: Leah describing the china she first thought she was going to.. inhabited by savages etc(first few pages)
there is heaps more but my book is at school
