boogie nights: a bit long, but really enjoyable and powerful. an easy film to like if you're not against sex or porn, despite their isn't an overly huge amount of it.
the virgin suicides: one of those films that takes your breath away through its beauty and mystery.
requiem for a dream: i dunno. it's just really fucking good.
