The Taming of the Shrew - Shakespeare

But the ABC TV series version (Shakespeare Retold) is pretty good to use instead. Plus it's modernistic making to much easier to follow.

I'm doing this for my Ext 1 Module of Visions of Utopia and Dystopia, but what about 1984, Utopia, Metropolis or Jennifer Government or something like that? Especially 1984, they all have themes of control and manipulation.

But Big Brother > 1984 > Everything else.

i think "Gladiator" (the show) is consistent with the themes of power and control :/

"Lost" has to deal with all three, especially manipulation inm

"Othello" deals with manipulation power and control

Harry Potter's Lord Voldemort has the need to control his surround environment, have power over all beings and manipulates his way to the top :/

and thats all i got of the top of my head

hope that's helped

~"Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury

It's really similar to "1984" by George Orwell
Well, at least that's what I've heard... I've read "Fahrenheit 451", and I've supposed to have read "1984", but I haven't :D
