hi there could i just get opinions/approximations on the relative difficulty of this 2024 2u math hsc? vs 2021, 2023, 2020, 2022. and if it might scale higher or lower than the past years.
looking at solns i know i secured only 45 marks on the questions im sure of, expecting maybe 55 raw give a few which is rlly bad

Personally I feel like 2024 was a lot harder. I feel like the thinking needed was a bit more intensive today. Personally I'd rank them;

2024 > 2023 > 2022 > 2021 > 2020

People always bash me for thinking 2021 wasnt that bad but regardless, I think 2024 was the worst yet. PRAYING that the allignment reflects that

I felt like all of them were equal except 2020 which I didn't do

You can 100% get 80+ final mark

I feel like the raw mark alignment would AT A MINIMUM have to reflect that of 2021. It all depends on how everyone found the exam though... But from my perception of the paper, and what I've heard, majority of people seem to believe it was quite difficult. We will pray that the raw mark alignment reflects that. 2021 had a raw mark of 74 going to a band 6... Lets hope for that.

What we thinking 65 will scale to

2021 saw 70 going to an 88 so I'm assuming this year a 65 will translate to low-mid 80s. I'm just a student though and have no clue. Might be best just to put it in the past as there's nothing we can do about it now

You can 100% get 80+ final mark

praying that all my subjects get scaled well this year so that my exam mark can be scaled up...internals really drag me down so much though
