Hey guys, just wondering whether any of you would know how to answer this question (or provide sites where any info can be found)

Describe how advances in our knowledge of biology have affected the development of technologies for renal dialysis.

I haven't been able to find any concrete info on this question, and its a major question on a research assignment lol -__-
