Hi all,

I've been entering a range of marks into SAM - mainly because I have absolutely no idea as to how I went in the HSC exams - and I've noticed that the 2003 UAIs given seem considerably lower than the 2002 and 2001. I.e. I can't remember the marks I tried, but when I put marks close to my assessment ranks; I got above 99 for 2002 and 2001; but 98ish for 2003.

Is this because the candidature in 2003 was generally more "intelligent" (if indeed HSC marks determine one's intelligence!)? And do you think it'll be similar this year?

Just wondering.

No, it is because for the courses you are doing the people were scaled better in the other years.

i think....

haven't though about this in a long time.
