Hi all, I've just entered my mark on the SAM and it came out to be 74.20. My marks are as follows:
Standard English: 68
General Maths: 86
Chemistry: 67
IPT: 83
SDD: 79

I realised if i was in 2003, I would have got 74.20, 2002 79.6 and 2001 86.00. Does that mean this year's UAI will drop even further to something around 60s? Thanks in advance :)

who did you hear it from? not wanting to put a dampener on it but if the general trend is down i tend to think it will go that way again "What's a sea-prompt?" If you find these hidden messages PM me. How long will it take?

SAM gives me a higher 2003 UAI prediction than a 2002 one, what's up with that?

GirlGoneMad where'd ya here that? cos that's comforting. if the trend is the same, having the uai's decrease each year, then my uai would be just shy of 90, which is my goal. why does that happen?

It happens sometimes - just depends on your courses and how much the candidatures have changed between years.

i hope they go up as well.. society had turned gay, we all need above 70 to do anything at uni..... soon that'll go up to 90 to do arts or some bird course~~~

r u saying that uai's r dropping each year, what happens in 5 yrs when ppl get 60 and r the smartest people.. its just away to keep the average kids away from uni, we all need to be rocket scientists.. i entered my marks and will get a uai of 71, but that will go down, as the trend continues....

Let's just keep our fingers crossed that the uai will go up and cut off goes down (it makes it easier for me anyway)

hopefully itll go higher *prays* i think croatian will have better scaling this yr cuz more people got band 6.. at least i think thats how it works?
only 1u will count for me anyway
i cant believe nearly 50% of people got b5 or b6 in english advanced.. wow thats so good
i hope my uai is around 87ish.. then theres a chance at my first pref! (primary ed at usyd)

more people getting band 6 isnt good. if that happens, you could get 90 but your percentile/rank would be lower than the year before which could hurt your uai a little in terms of estimates.

I think they're all getting lower, unfortunately :) I mean, in 2001, I would have got 99.9ish (WOW!)...and in 2003, I would have got 99.7. Which is obviously still a very good mark, it's just I'm kinda hoping for 99.6 THIS year!

Why couldn't my parents have had me earlier? :) MEH!
