ok... i know there are a lot of s.c. threads going on but anyhoo:

1. I'm sure there must be some way to study/prepare for S.c. ?
--> would those who have done it say past papers helped them?
--> what types of revision should be done ?

2. Your SC Mark.. is that a percentage or ??

im just wondering these things cos if everyone seems to think it is that easy.. it should be *easy to get all very high (band 6's) ?

read ur class notes...dont study... look and read past papers..to get a 'feel' of it.... dont study.. sc is bulllshit and nothing...

ur mark is like an aligned mark ie. 87, 38, 96, 65 etc... and ur given a band....
band 6 = 90+
band 5 = 80+
band 4 = 70+
band 3 = 60+
band 2 = 50+
band 1 = 0 - 49

would an aligned mark be referring to your ranking in the state - i.e. a percentile ?

i think they give you a percentiel..thats when they put you in the bands i think... i'm unsure.... sc meant shit to me.. i dont give

man, school certificate is not worth stressing over. don't even study. If you're doing okay at school now then you've got nothing to worry, it won't be much.

don't believe the teachers when they try to scare you with their "school certificate bullcraps".

i fell asleep in the english one and that was supposedly my worst subj during school and i got a 88 for it! the best mark outta 3 and i missed out on a band 5 by one mark in science!!
ah well now its the Hsc

SC doesn't count towards anything. Just pass and you'll be fine.
