hey,

would anyone have some historinas who refer directly to the debate on scale? Keith Windshuttle is good but not really what im looking for

maybe some quotes or just refernces that share view point on how to view scale..

It's in refernce to the rape of nanking and how different historians percieve nanking, number of deaths and even the words 'massacre' and 'of'

any help would be sweet

If you can, I'd have a look at Marnie Hughes-Warrington's Palgrave Advances in World Histories.

She has a whole chapter on scope.
