Does anyone know roughly how many people get nominated for the SHAPE exhibition?

The Shape Exhibition showcases a selection of exemplary Major Design Projects by students that are selected from the following HSC subjects:

• Design and Technology
• Industrial Technology
• Textiles and Design

The number of nominations for this exhibition rely on factors that are dependent on individual schools, including:

• Which of the above-listed subjects are offered at a particular school.
• The cohort size for each of the above-listed subjects at a particular school.

For example, in 2020, Catherine McAuley Westmead nominated 3 of their students for the Shape Exhibition, whereas De La Salle Catholic College Cronulla nominated 18 of their students for the Shape Exhibition.

However, it seems that nomination is not final, and that students nominated must be selected in order to be included in the Shape Exhibition. The 2017 edition showcased the innovative projects of 39 students from across NSW. This may be indicative of the number of students selected for the Shape Exhibition, which, based on this information, can be said to be somewhere between 25 and 50 students.
