Soccer is fun to play but shit to watch cuz there are juz too many stoppages due to slide tackles. Slide tackle is both dangerous (cuz they are often mistimed) and destroys the flow of the game (refs blowing whistle and giving freekicks). What do u think?

Agreed there. However, it's wise not to mess even slightly with a formula that's got most of the world watching.

no because a clean slide tackle is the best way to get the ball off an attacker. The game has changed some things such as the backpass rule and allowances in the off side rule to make it more exciting. GEtting rid of the slide tackle would take away any chance the defence have against the attack.

I don't think it's shit to watch at all. And not all fouls are slide tackles, so it wouldn't completely eradicate stoppages anyway.

try sports like volleyball? rugby?

they get more fouls and time off then foorball

and you can't make slide tackle a foul, cos how is it a foul, when the tackle was perfectly legal even though the defender made contact with the opponent after the ball have been taken off
cos if u make sliding tackle illegal, ur actually saying all sort of contact to the person controlling the ball, illegal
