Minimum requirements are what you *should* have, but are not always a necessity. For example, if the minimum requirements are a 1.2ghz processor, and you have a 1.0ghz, then it may just run slow.

If the game requires a 64mb graphics card that's newer than the geforce series to run, and you have a 16mb Riva TNT, then it's unlikely you'll be able to play the game.

What are your computer specifications, and the minimum system specifications?

Minimum requirements: You need these to run it. If you do not meet it, you may not be able to play this game
Reccommended requirements: You need these to run it at a good speed/quality

If you just miss the minimum specs by a little bit, it should still work(unless you are lacking in hard-drive space).

You can tweak a 32MB TNT2 to run Doom 3 if you want to, but playability is, well, less that 5 fps.

Minimum specs:
If you have a T&L capable video card with at least 32 MB of video RAM then you need at least:
800 MHz processor or better
256 MB RAM if Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows 98 or Windows 2000
At least 3.5 GB of hard drive space
If you have a non-T&L capable video card (an Intel Extreme Graphics or a Radeon 7000/VE Series) then you need at least:
2.0 GHz processor or better
256 MB RAM if Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows 98, or Windows 2000
At least 3.5 GB of hard drive space

It won't come out on ps2, cause the sims games on the computer and ps2 are completely different. sims of ps2 have level orientation to achieve.
