Has anybody else bought Snow Leopard? I got it on Friday, and I love it! Completely worth the $40. What are your opinions?

I hate macintosh.....too simple. Graphics look great but If i can't find proper programs without a 3rd party converting it. then I much rather die.

rather use linux.
That is what I love so much about OS X. It is the best of both worlds: I get a fantastic UI and set of programs. Then, when i need to, I just drop back down to Terminal

Quicktime X is my new drug. :D
you mean the thing they took all the controls away from???

the only reason it is smaller is because they got rid of all the printer drivers that you do not need (which should of been done in the first place)

Incorrect. SL now calculates hard drive apace on base 10 rather than base 2. So for every kilobyte, you gain an extra 24 bytes, multiply that by 1000 for megabytes, then by 1000 per gigabyte, then multiply by hdd size eg 160gb. That's the reason you get lots of space back.

rather use linux.
This and I do.

Ubuntu Jaunty all the way.

Although i do admire macs in some ways... but that is why I will be getting e netbook that operates on gOS - basically linux + mac looks but full functionality for me of the best operating system.

You described SL as increasing HDD space, that article just tells us its only showing its manufacturing size.
That's the whole point. A 160GB hdd, which would appear in 10.5 and Windows as 149.7GB, is now accurately reported as 160GB because of the way SL calculates disk size, and hence you get extra space.
