i did drink/min...why would u have to calculate alcohol per minute???

was it less than 2 mL a minute? i didn't do the alcohol/min so i dunno

it specifically said mililitreS! i capitalised the s. cos they stated plural!

no dodgy wording there. as far as i can see.

I did alcohol. I also thought the time zone question's wording was a bit iffy (although other people are going to disagree on that, based on what I've seen).
But overall, I thought it was one of the best maths exams I've done, in terms of actually getting across what they wanted you to answer - I don't really have high expectations of maths exams any longer, mind you.

I did 0.2 whatever that was lol

I did:
20.625mL = 1.6 standard drinks
Therefore 1 standard drink = 12.89...mL
12.89...mL/hour
= 0.214...mL / minute

I think thats what I did
yeah thats waht i did... worked it out to 1 standard drink n then worked from there...

Reading it back I think it is drink per minute
Damn :(
Oh well hopefully they'll accept both because it wasn't very clear

375mL = 1.6 SDs
1SD = 234.375mL
234.375mL / hour
= 3.90625mL / min

Is that right?

Damn you BoS lol

Yeah some was weird.
Also that question with the 5 cards with numbers...and then it asks how many numbers you can make. Then there's a question or two that ask the probability of the 'numbers' and I wasn't sure if it was the numbers on the card or the numbers the card made. :s

Hmmm yeah this exam was okay
I agree that some of the wording in it was dodgy at times
I cant think of the question right now
But i had to re-read it a few times till it clicked

Think there will be much scaling if any?

hopefully a lot of scaling.
Our maths teacher assured us there would be anyway.

But some of the wording was terrible. I spent a lot of my time trying to firgure out what exactly the questions were asking.
