okay i was playing around with Ozseek and Lazseeker...

and i can tell u there is a considerable differnce in the estimates..

my subjects are

Eco
Business ST
Gen Maths
IPT
Adv English

When i put 60.. Lazseek 40.80 Ozseek 59.65

When i put them all as 70 for Lazk i got 58.35 while with Ozseek i got 69.85

while if i have 80 for all the subjects.. Ozseek is 81.45
where as your lazseeker gives me 84.50

I just found this interesting... u might already know this... i jsut wanna know your thoughts on it???

I am too scared to even do this estimate uai stuff.. i think i might await for the actual one. I am not looking for it! uai's are evil!
considering, if u won't a hsc student, u can get into uni heaps easy- without the fus of uai. it's only cos of the amount of students doing hsc and applying that stuff gets so hard to get into!

Yep they provide very different estimates.

(data moved to a PM because it was too long)

Nice to see someone else who can enjoy the intricacies of statistics!

Oh, as a sidenote, Spike - Ozseek uses percentiles, not marks, so if you want to compare it accurately with LazSeeker, you have to use the advanced version.

Either go by rank or by mark?

Is the word 'mark' actually used anywhere?

From what I can see, they have "Percentile Band" written next to the drop-down boxes where you choose a number, and you can't actually enter marks in anywhere...
