Even if it specifically asks for significant person only?hey man
my teacher told me to always do the person/practice/ethics thing though
yeah! not even kiddingEven if it specifically asks for significant person only?
But that question was not specifying the significant person.yeah! not even kidding
half yearly, we had some question on how religion instils ethics onto an individual, we still had to do the person/practice/ethics
got 18 for that essay
I get you, you're absolutely right but I'm saying what my teacher saidBut that question was not specifying the significant person.
Consider 2012 HSC:
Men, women and schools of thought have reformed and/or revitalised the Christian tradition.
How well does this statement reflect the impact on Christianity of ONE significant person or school of thought, other than Jesus?
This nly requires you to talk about the person.
Whereas 2011:
Some religions emphasise justice, while others emphasise compassion.
How does the statement reflect the diversity of expression within the Christian tradition?
This requires you to talk about all 3.
was this schollard?I get you, you're absolutely right but I'm saying what my teacher said
we did the 2012 paper in class, he writes on the board that you can tie it into everything e.g.
john paul II > bioethics > responding to his baptismal call
you get it?
kingsmanwas this schollard?
Yeh I gess you could, its a bit risky, but I doubt it's impossible. Like adapting an English essay in a way.I get you, you're absolutely right but I'm saying what my teacher said

okEither way if it specifies the area by saying "reflect the impact on Christianity of ONE significant person or school of thought, other than Jesus?" don't link it to all your topics.
I did last years exam and got 47/50 by not linking it to all three.
They were breaking the trend of having students link the question to all their topics. Them specifying the area meant the students needed a complete understanding of the topic not just a paragraph from each topic.
I honestly believe if you get a question that specifies the area and you link it to all three the markers will think it's a prepared essay gone bad.
