Hi!
I was wondering what would happen if:
A student receives the highest mark/best response in the HSC exam (lets say they were the only 100 in the state) but they were only ranked top 20/30 in their school (so not near the highest) for their final school mark
<assume that this student worked REALLY hard during the break between trials and HSC>
Would this person still receive a state ranking of 1st (or a state ranking at all)?? Would other students who got 99 in the exam and were ranked really high in their school get a state ranking as their overall HSC mark is higher, even though their exam responses were not as good??
i hope my question makes sense >-<
Thanks!
