When a business pays all staff at the award minimum wage, what is a strategy or strategies to overcome this?

Help would be greatly appreciated!

It works the other way - a reward (e.g. wage increase) might lift morale and reduce absenteeism and staff turnover.

The question itself is a odd one that I don't think really quite fits in with the syllabus. But I suppose what Without Wings said about rewards overcoming the awards wage is absolutely right. Even if a business pays its employees award wages, they can still provide employees with benefits beyond the award.

Yeah I have to write an essay in 2 weeks. They will give us a scenario and we will have to talk about how to improve ER strategies and I have to use case studies in my answer.
