Hi guys!
I am a first year student studying a bachelor of Design in Visual Communications at UTS.
I am currently studying part time and have only attended one semester (due to circumstances beyond my control).

I am looking to eventually study law at UTS.
However, I flunked the HSC and achieved an ATAR of 91.5 but received bonus marks in order to get into my course (also band 6’d in legal studies but I doubt that is going to help haha)

At the moment I am a HD average student but I am only studying part-time and taking two subjects so this might change if I pick up more subjects.

Serious about my studies now, what are the pathways I can go about (if there are any) in order to somehow transfer into law?

After one year of uni, your ATAR doesn't matter.

There is a high chance that you can transfer to a single degree Law. The best thing is that you can do it internally so no UAC bs, so what I recommend you to do is to go the student service in B5C,B10 or B6 and they will walk you through it

Good Luck
