Do u think we'll have to know what every thing means or will they give us a list of the functions that the certain shape performs?

You would have to know what each of the symbols mean - but you can take heart from the fact that they will PROBABLY not give you the less common and less important ones like non-computerised storage or whatever it is, and the fact that the names on them should give you some hints as to what it does - whether its a process or input etc....

i hope they only ask for either a DFD or a context diagram. i can't remember every single symbol for a Sys Flow Chart.
