Hi all.

Firstly is

1), it too late in Year 11 Term 2 Week 1 to change a subject? (I'm not doing any sciences and want a career to help people so I'm thinking of being a paediatrician, occupational therapist or teacher which might need HSC science)

And

2) Should I take Biology or Chemistry for med/health?

Chem/Bio guys what do you think is better and if any med students are on here what's your opinion?
I've researched many uni's, Chem is recommended by most, however the Med students I've talked to didn't use barely any of their knowledge of polymers and industrial chem for med. however As a humanities student, Bio seems easier than Chem, and looks more relevant. However last year I did better in Chem than Bio and mums a chemical engineer if all else fails I have help hahahaha

Bio will be more relevant than chemistry (there is a lot of bio in med and you pretty much build on the concepts you learnt).
But they go over it from scratch so it shouldn't be a problem if you didn't do bio (I didn't do bio and I'm finding it ok)

I'd do the subject that you feel will get you a higher atar.
Also just a minor note - Monash has chemistry as a prerequisite.
