The awkward moment when Ellis moves back to Ireland and everybody hates her.
I dont get it...The awkward moment when her name was actually Eilis.
thisthe expected and entirely unawkward moment when a random BoS penk makes a terrible thread.
It was E - I - L - I - S not E - L - L - I - S lol, dont think many people noticed.I dont get it...
wtf ??? I just let it be.It was E - I - L - I - S not E - L - L - I - S lol, dont think many people noticed.
It really doesnt matter, just quite a few people have misspelled a characters name hehe. Markers probably wont even notice.wtf ??? I just let it be.
Is there a significance in that order?>
Haha yeah i noticed that too!the part i didn't get was that the paper said "Eilis's"
I thought correct grammar was Eilis'
That's what I thought too. Ironic BoS fail?the part i didn't get was that the paper said "Eilis's"
I thought correct grammar was Eilis'
lol yeah, appparently the people who set the paper need a bit of practice themselves. That's what I thought too. Ironic BoS fail?
Marker: You spelt Eilis wrongLOL ouch will we get deducted marks for spelling Eilis wrong? or would the markers not give a damn?
I was keep writing Eilis's and kept crossing the s at the end... ffsthe part i didn't get was that the paper said "Eilis's"
I thought correct grammar was Eilis'
There is no way they could deduct marks for it lol! Atleast you'd hope not...LOL ouch will we get deducted marks for spelling Eilis wrong? or would the markers not give a damn?
oh phew then.. because if I recall correctly, I think I spelt Eilis wrong as Ellis =_=Marker: You spelt Eilis wrong
Me: You said Eilis's instead of Eilis'.
but anyway, I doubt it. But it may give them the impression you did not read carefully but i highly doubt they will directly deduct marks for it.
What the heck? Eilis's is fine. In fact, Eilis's is traditionally the preferred/dominant way of putting it, you're supposed to do that after personal names (general accepted convention), it's only modern society or whatever that cbfs now so it's gradually changing, so Eilis' will probably be 100% accepted in a few decades.Marker: You spelt Eilis wrong
