is this true ><
i do 1 unit religion and 1 unit history extension.. is it true that 1u subjects have horrible scaling?

Depends on what it is.

For example, latin extension, english extenion, maths extension and history extention (Sort of) have good scaling

On the other hand, subjects like sor don't have good scaling but it's decent.

Scaling is designed to reflect the relative quality of the students who do subjects so most Extension courses scale well due to the fact that capable students do them.

SOR, on the other hand, because it is compulsory in most Catholic schools and some other religious schools doesn't scale as well as it has a fuller range of students doing the course.

Single unit subjects usually have unfavourable scaling. However, extension subjects have nice scaling!

Extension Englishes aren't the best scaling. IIRC Advanced is better in terms of aligned -> scaled (though the system doesnt work this way i know)

1U Religion isn't bad, though... it's one of those subjects that as long as you study and know your stuff, there are marks for the taking, regardless of the scaling.
