By issues i assume you mean thematic concerns.

1) The dehumanisation of humanity.
2) The implications of technology.
3) The alienation of motherhood implying a destruction of nature leading to a destruction of humanity.

BTW: for this module context is of great significance, knowing how the context shaped the writers view is important.

I don't really understand the question. For the Module "In the wild," you don't really need to discuss characterisation that much, more how the context has shaped the authors view on creation of a certain character. John the Savage represents a 'more human than human' (BR link), one who develops emotional ties with others at the reservation. Huxley uses John the Savage to contrast both the future dehumanised humanity under the influence of technology, with the 'natual world', one of which nature hasn't been alienated or destroyed.

Info from my head, although i learnt module A term 4 last year so a bit stecky on some of that.

1. The defenition of what it is to be human / humanity
-Define humanity
-Link in artificial life as opposed to natural life in both texts (replicants and BNW citizens / john the savage and tyrell and sebastian)
-Relate humanity as being shaped by personal experiences as opposed to out environment and genetic makeup, for example that the replicants and the savage appear to be more emotive and close within the texts and that the link they have in common is their constant hardship of being hounded by society


2.The environment
-Not tree's and listless landscapes :mad1:, but how the environment shapes people
-Within humanity, the social construct is an environment, how expectations and regulations within a society shapepeople. (e.g. Johns reaction to promiscuity is from his own society and his shakespeare; whereas all the citizens in BNW are tending towards YEAHH WTF PNEUMATIC! w00t!)

3. Control
-In BNW where everything is controlled bigbrother style (hate that show) there is a complete dehumanisation of society and diversity. everyone must fit within the constructs of society. Parodies that totaltarianism and eternal peace have a high price to pay, and reflects on the way the world is tending towards globalisation.
-In BR the anarchy (not really any government, tyrell owning all) displays that no control whatsoever also dehumanises. People steal off deckards car, even while he's inside it. the world also having a system of the 'Police state', as deckard doesnt have a choice in terminating the replicants. The 'pat on the back' treatment deckard gets for killing zora shows that they dont even recognise the inherent humanity within the replicants.
