I thought it was pretty good but they completely neglected the "hard drive" part of the plot where all the agent names are revealed. Iirc they never retrieve it lol
yes. they also completely neglected the whole "gets shot twice, falls off a moving train into a river and then down a waterfall and magically ends up banging some girl on a beach somewhere"
and it is made clear that bond heard m say to take the shot, and given that M says it no less than three times, he could have simply gotten the fuck out of the way so she could make the shot
oh and apparently this guy is a "ghost", and yet they are able to identify him on the basis of his bullet and find out his immediate flight schedule in almost an instant
and why did they get him to assassinate that guy? I thought he needed to do all that shit because of the body guards, but they were in on it all along, so why not save 4million euros and do it themselves
for a movie trying to be all serious and realistic, they really ought to have skipped the cgi man-eating komodo dragons
moneypenny was awkward, unnecesaary and forced. her being the one responsible for the shooting apparently served only to provide some funny banter/flirting between them, and her appearance in the film full stop was apparently just so they could reveal her to be moneypenny in the end. the actress playing her also can't act which only made things worse. And seriously, is being a secretary really the next step down from being a field agent responsible for shooting cunts with assault rifles?
and where did he get the aston martin? The original aston was destroyed in goldfinger, and the one he won in casino royale wouldn't have been fitted out with all of the mI6 gadgets. this really threw the continuity of the reboot
