hey can anyone give me an extremely simplified version of time dfilation and all the stuff that goes with it cause i get lost . Thanx!

Well, simply, the faster your travelling relative to something, time slows down, length contracts and mass increases. Example, say you get on a space ship, and fly away from the earth in a straight line. You retain a constant velocity of 0.8c. If you could see what was happening on the earth, you would notice that everything seems to be going in slow motion, everything looks heavier, and its length would have contracted, and everything seems to be normal on the spaceship. You could say that you are at "rest" (not moving) and the earth is moving away from you at 0.8c.

Also, if the people on earth could see the spaceship, they would notice that you seem to be in slow motion, the ships lenght would seem to contract, and have a larger mass. They would look at themselves and they would look normal, because they are at "rest" relative to you and you are moving away at 0.8c.

Using the time dilation formulas you can find out how much time has slowed down for you and for the earth.
