I live in Maitland, NSW and am currently defering a Bachelor of Psychology at Newcaslte university. However, I have grown tired of Newcastle/Maitland and really need to find my own little place and Lismore/Ballina/Byron looks like a 'Nick kind of place'.
So basically, my question is, first off is it possible for me to transfer to SCU before my defer is up, or will I have to wait for the rest of this year to enroll properly at Newcastle as a full-time student before I can move to Lismore/Ballina/Woodburn/Byron and enroll at SCU?
I'm really confused about what needs to happen and any help is greatly appreciated as it will assist in me greatly.
I'm assuming my UAI is what is used to grade whether I get into SCU or not, although, if the UAI cut-off is higher, have I still got my place at Newcastle to fall back on?
