I'm planning to transfer to a different course in my 2nd year, so I'm wondering what units should I be doing... should i be picking a few units from the course that I plan to transferred in? so that i don't waste my first year? and also, if i did transfer, does the unit i complete becomes my electives for my new course??

Eg. First year, I'm doing B of Social science and my units are...
Global Structures and Local Cultures (Core)
Crime and Criminal Justice (Compulsory)
Crime and Criminology (Compulsory)
Psychology: Human Behaviour (Elective)
and something similar in semester 2...

Then when i do get my transfer to B of Psychology
Would all the compulsory units from my first year becomes my elective units and i don't have to repeat Psychology: Human Behaviour as it is a unit from my new course.

or it doesn't work out like this... and i have to do redo all my units from when i transfer?? any info would be much appreciated thanks.

I think you should contact the head of program for B Psychology to recommend subjects for you to do/creditable subjects for your transfer.
