I did the CSSA paper today. Modules 1 and 3 were easy enough, i wasn't prepared for 2 though.

I did my Area of Study yesterday, Module Paper today.. not bad.

From memory, here were some of the questions:

Area of Study - Question 2 (Creative) - Write a speech to your peers based on the following quote: "Change yourself, and you can change the world."

----------------------------------------------------

Module A - Emma/Clueless - Your prescribed text transforms old ideas into new ideas, and the composer has decided to include and exclude certain ideas. How were these ideas portrayed in the text?

Module B - King Lear - Write a magazine feature article regarding how different people can appreciate your text in different ways.

Module C - Frontline - "Every text creates its own truth." Discuss this statement in relation to your focus text and a variety of related material.

non-catholic school kid here as well; anyone remember the CSSA 2003 questions for john donne, ros + guil/hamlet and 1984? Our school has a habit of being so lazy they copy other people's questions. thanks.

Catholic trial questions (from what i can remember!!)

MODULE A - (BNW/BR)
People's relationship with nature comes in extremes - control and exploitation in one hand, and wonder and empathy in the other.

In light of this statement, discuss with reference to the text you have studied.

MODULE B (King Lear)
In various productions, how can power and powerlessness be orchestrated by the dramatist in King Lear?

Refer to 2 productions in your response.

MODULE C (frontline + r. material)
In the war of falsehood and truth - falsehood always wins and truth loses.

3 students are asked to discuss the topic. Write the transcript for this discussion.

Refer to your prescribed text and related material.
