So preferences for main round close tomorrow and i'm still tossing up between straight commerce or com/law.
Would i be buying myself some time if i just put in com/law for main round and then still be guaranteed to be able to choose straight commerce if i want to in second round since i pretty significantly exceeded last years cut off?

better than doing straight commerce, then deciding you want to do law and then going through the hassle of transfering

I agree, but thats why i'm trying to make the right decision the first time around. My question is would i be guaranteed entry into straight commerce in the second round if my atar was high enough for law? (pretty sure with 'HSC plus' my ATAR is >100 )
