I'm pretty devastated that I never knew of the importance of ranks until just before my Trials.. So Yeah. But that being said here are my results:


Mathematics (Yes thats Mathematics, not General Mathematics - and includes 3unit students)
Trial rank 2/24, 82%
Overall rank for Semester 2 = 2/24

Business Studies
Trial rank 1/23, 78%
Overall rank for Semester 2 = 3/23

Engineering Studies
Trial rank 2/18, 80%
Overall rank for Semester 2 = 4/18

Information Processes and Technology
Trial rank 1/15, 80%
Overall rank for Semester 2 = 5/15 (got 64% for my major work :mad1

Advanced English
Trial rank 24/61, 72% (oops ..hate King Lear)
Overall rank for Semester 2 = 18/61


As you can see, top 2 in every subject except English for my trials.
UAI predictions please?? I've been working on English heaps hard since Trials so I'm hoping to get around 85 for my HSC exam for it.

EDIT: I forgot to say that my school was rank 131 in 2006 (By telegraph not SMH), if that helps/makes a difference.

ranks are pretty good, so i wouldnt stress out too much on them.
if youre confident on achieving 85 for your english adv, and roughly band 5s and band 6s then i dont see why you cant get above 90+.
Just study hard now right up to the conclusion of the hsc and im pretyt sure youll achieve 90+.

Anyway- its good motivation to think I can get over 90.
