Well, UAIs typically change each year, which means that the cut-off for a course last year might not be the same this year. You can use last year's cut-off to get a rough idea of the sort of UAI you need, but it is usually better to aim a bit higher than it. Hope this helps ;)

Have a look at the previous years cut offs as well, and see if you can find a trend...if the UAI rose a bit this year, chances are it will rise a little again this year!:p

dont aim for the uai for ur course... aim for 99+ (i know it sounds corny..)

i know its hard but you shouldnt just aim for the cut off [as said above].

lol...well the cutoff for arts at sydney jumped a whole 10 UAI points in 2001-2002...from 70.00 to 80.05 or something from memory
THATS a jump!

And it'll probably stay that way with cut-funding. Always cutting funding for education ... *Sighs*

hmm wat about the 'Nelson review'
anyone prepared to pay $30,000 a yr to go to uni??
