If you don't get into undergrad medicine in year 12 you can do UCAT every year until you graduate uni right?
so if you do well in the UCAT in uni, do they still look at your ATAR or do they look at your uni GPA for them to give you an offer in undergrad medicine?

If you have done 48cp aka 1 years worth of full time study, they look at your GPA. But also, why would you do that, just do post grad medicine. In fact, doing different degrees (as opposed to doing med from the get go) will enable you to a) have back up careers and b) be able to bring more to the table as a doctor

You can do the UCAT every year until you die (okay maybe not forever, since unis require some sort of study in the past 10 years) but once you have graduated uni it's more logical to go down the graduate entry path (since it's shorter).

Nothing stopping you from doing the UCAT 10 years down the track and doing an undergraduate medicine degree (unless the uni has certain rules), just that it's more common for people to do the GAMSAT and do a graduate entry degree.
