yes if you get a UAI of 80 you can get into any course < or = to 80.

i see you are into humanities...

i would say maybe an arts degree

but you also do business so maybe

commerce/arts

or

commerce (liberal studies)

however commerce does involve some maths in it

Do not let maths scare you away from the course you want to do.

I guess most social science or humanities subjects won't have maths. eg. law, languages, history...a lot of Arts majors

Courses that will have maths: Commerce/Business/Economics, Sciences, Psychology, engineering, comp sci, etc

To answer your question seriously, I hope you aren't just looking for a uni course just for the hell of it.

I think you need to think about what course you ACTUALLY want to do, and then go from there in determining which course you will be able to attend.

For instance if you want to do a course which does require maths, you can always do one year of another course and then switch.

Depending on your major you could be doing a lot of maths as part of a commerce degree. This semester all my business subjects are maths orientated

Law doesn't need it, for sure. I was awful at methods and yet I'm still in law. You just need to be able to add up the hours of reading and subtract that from the hours you'd otherwise spend sleeping.

I think if you do arts you can probably opt out of maths.

You're going to have to do stats in virtually any course you do though... But at least there shouldn't be too much there.

I'm with Ari on this though: you should pick your course for something that you'll enjoy, cause even if you don't do maths you're going to find it hell if you're not too keen on the subjects you're doing.

What are you into? science, history, language/literature, the human psyche, rocks and dirt and stuff, politics/law, business, art? Anything?

stay away from pure sciences like physics, maths (obviously), chemistry, engineering etc
I do geology and their isnt much maths involved anyway.

Arts degrees keep you away from maths.

Whilst there is not an explicit maths component to law studies, i still beleive that strong mathematical skills= good legal skills. Law is a lot different to the other arts/humanities mentioned; the deductive reasoning which is applied to solve problems is analogous to that used in mathematical proofs.

I do comm/law, as for the commerce part the maths is dead simple but fairly volumous at least i find in first yr eco. Sub lik microeconomics is dominated by graphs/simple algebra, however little mathematical knowledge beyond these basic skills is required. However, if u plan on majoring in anythin lik eco a strong foundation in calculus/probability/stat is needed for future years, and i guess the same goes for accounting/finance.

They are completely different from different faculties.

B Liberal Studies = glorified arts degree..if that.

B Com (Lib) = plain commerce degree with a splash of arts and science
