are there any sites that i can go to that show which unis are better at cetain courses?
i mean, apart from peoples own opinions here?

There's always the Good Guides. Your local library should have them (mine's in reference, so you can't borrow 'em) but they show graduate outcomes, graduate opinions on the course, teaching quality ect and employment on separate courses and on individual Uni's. It's pretty good and worth a look
