UNSW/USYD 2016 vs UOW 2017? (1 Viewer)

Hi! Please help out:

I've got into UNSW July 2016 and USYD, UOW for 2017 for Mechanical Engineering. Got a good scholarship for UOW. So which should I choose? I like the research focus in UNSW (I want to get into prosthetics and the like later), but the cost is the only downside.

In this case is UNSW better than UOW? Factor in possibilties of moving abroad too. Or should I wait till next year to join UOW.

Is the scholarship worth it?

UNSW offers a B(Mechanical)/M(Biomedical) Engineering program which may seem suitable for you if you want to research in prosthetics later on.

If you are going to study at UoW next year, will you make the most of the next 6 months and use it to your advantage in some way (whether it be to have a decent gap year or to work full time or to do something productive, etc) ?

I'm asking these questions to get you to think about alternatives. In the end, you'll have to make the decision. We can only help to a certain extent.
