K, so my Dell laptop has just arrived and I was wondering, would I need to install some sort of software onto it to be able to get onto the internet at UTS?

When you first connect to UTS Wireless, the software will automatically be loaded on to your laptop.

I'm assuming your laptop comes with a wireless adapter, etc. You should have no problems connecting. If you've got Windows Vista, you might have to turn of User Account Controls.

Open Network Connections in Windows and wait for the UTS Wireless network to come into range. There should be no password required. Wireless isn't that great in some buildings though (eg, Building 4)

Once it connects, open your browser and sign in using your student number and email password.
