its not up yet becoz they havent processed your forms mate.
this is whats happeneing to me as well.
to view, you have to go to platform web and then select tutorial registration. but if you cant see your cores/electives then you cant register yet.
also you have to wait for the right day to register for them too!

Your uws account will let you view your timetable without having to search for subjects individually.

Also, your id number along with your birthday will allow you to access webct. I'd advise a week or so before uni, have a look around webct and get yourself familiar with it.

dre, you should really be looking at electives now and so therefore your all prepared for enrolment day. The sooner you get all the forms filled in, the sooner you can get out.

You will get any subject that you put down. As long as you have the prerequisities. They really should have told you at enrolment day what to do. They really sound to be so disorganised this year. My advise would be go to your closest campus and go to their student centre and ask them. Whilst you are there, they can add the subject for you. But go and do it soon. Otherwise you might miss out on tut rego.

Dre, in autumn semester health science people have the core subjects and one elective. so, you have the opportunity to pick 1 elective from the all general health sience units.

Would you like me to suggest a few? from the ones that I have completed??

I gather u are doing the social health studies major

if you already have the unit u want to do in mind, go to the student centre and fill out a subject variation form. You can also down/load any forms on the net from http://sites.uws.edu.au/students/admin/forms/index.phtml
The form you need is program variation- i think.

Just circle add- to add the unit to the system. If u do in now, it should update well before tut reg.

Also, in 3rd year there is a unit called Workbased Learning Project: Humanitarian and Health Studies that u have to do if ur doing the social health studies major.

Just keep in mind that the subject Inequality and human rights a subject that you have to have completed before you begin that third year subject. Even though its not listed anywhere I did the subject last year and the lecturer expected everyone to have had done inequality and human rights and told people that have not done it that they can't do Workbased Learning Project: Humanitarian and Health Studies.

Just something to keep in mind. And its an easy unit too....

yes, they should have let you know about picking electives because how were you to know.

I am sure it has it on the health science info page but you could have missed it.

at least nxt time u will know?

im sure they did tell him in the adivisin session. not only that, but common sense would of showed you where to fill in your desired electives on the form you were givin. You need to read the info in the enrolemt pack that tells u step by step how to sucessfully enrol in subjects.

plus - either your Academic advision, the enrolement paperwork, the blue helping shirt people, the signs around the enrolment centre pointing to a room "HOW TO FILL IN YOUR ENROLMENT FORMS" sessions were run every 30 mins:\ all of those things would of told you how to fill in your subjects and how to add/minus electives :D

But do not stress - still plenty of time. Print off a variation of program form on the uws site (check a thread below this one - someone pasted the link) - and simply write out the name of the elective u want to do - what semester, and then circle ADD on the form. Easy.
