Whats the general equation when it comes to inverse tan?

y'=f'(x)/(1+[f(x)]2)), can easily be derived using the composite function rule.

Hmmm..i thought there was supposed to be something different with tan<sup>-1</sup> compared to sin<sup>-1</sup> and cos<sup>-1</sup>
