K, like, I've been looking around for a spiffy nerd ensemble (long sleeve shirt + wooley vest) but haven't been able to find them anywhere. Only place I found was upstairs at some faggy really expensive shop at Broadway. So, like, any ideas?

i bought a woolly vest for work because i needed something warmer than a shirt but couldn't have long sleeves.
Mine's a black saba one that i got from DJ's but at the time i also saw some at Yd. Try those sorts of places. Just because they're in a faggy store doesnt mean you can't make it look ok in a different context.

(PS: i assume you mean a sweater-type vest as opposed to a wool waistcoat like you would typically wear with a suit)

You mean like those woollen cricket ones? I got my mum to knit me one so it fits perfectly. (Yeah, sounds totally attractive).


Also, op-shops smell like dead people.

If you want to go preppy/faggy I got a kenji short sleeve cardigan thing that I can wear over a white shirt and fulfil that goal. Keep an eye out at myer/dj's sales.

EDIT: Kinda going for the James Beattie look, but with no sleeves.

lol you looked in the wrong op shop man, all the ones near me look like 300 old men died on the shop floor and the salesgirls harvested their warm woolley outer coverings before they sent them to the morgue. In other words, vests abound. Keep looking!

Yeah <3 Adam Brody. Having said that, I don't like the colour. If you have the preppy vibe, vests are so hawt.

If I saw you, I could tell you what vest would suit you, you could turn around for me.
